'Billions needed' to halt march of AIDS BBC News On the eve of a major Aids conference in Barcelona, the Global HIV Prevention Working Group says that the tragedy of sub-Saharan Africa could be repeated elsewhere unless lessons are learned. They have developed an eight-point plan to help governments tackle spiralling infection rates. Their research, is published in Lancet.
