Link The contraceptive properties, antimicrobial activity, and safety of mandelic acid condensation polymer (SAMMA) was assessed. Mandelic acid condensation polymer inhibits sperm function, is contraceptive, has broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, and is highly safe. Further development as a microbicide is warranted.
